Future Caps | Pukekohe Metro Cricket Club

Welcome to the 2023/24 cricket season. Detailed below is all the information you need to know about our Year 1-2 Future Caps programme. These sessions are designed for the kids to participate in cricket, learn the fundamental skills of cricket and most importantly have fun!

Dates:

November 6, 13, 20, 27

December 4, 11, 18 (reserve day if we get rain)

February 5, 12, 19 ,26

March 4, 11,18 (reserve day if we get rain)

Junior Muster:

Our Junior Muster will be held on 8 October at Bledisloe Park. We encourage participation in our muster day. There will be fun activities, a bouncy castle and inflatable cricket net. We will also be putting on a sausage sizzle. Further details will be posted on our Facebook page.

Pick up and drop off:

Please have your child ready to go at the back of the Bledisloe Park Sports Centre at 5.25pm ready to start each session at 5.30pm. Each session will finish at 6.30pm, we ask parents pick up their child from the same point.

Cancellations Due to Rain:

Uniform:

New Year 1 & 2 members will receive a club shirt and cap. These must be worn at each session. These will be handed out at the first session. Flat shoes are also compulsory. Existing members are required to wear their shirt and cap from last season.

Equipment:

All equipment is provided but your child is welcome to bring their own bat if they have one. There is no requirement to purchase cricket gear for this programme.
