PUKEKOHE METRO CRICKET CLUB
Our Future Caps program is where your kids cricket journey begins.
Format: This is a training program within PMCC that is designed to develop the necessary skills for your child to play cricket. These sessions are designed to be fun and include learning for both children and parents.
Playing Ages: Players should have started school as of 1st of September of the current season. All children younger will require assessment from our Junior Club Captain to ensure they are ready.
Teams: All players within this age group will play and learn together.
Time: Session dates will be announced before the start of the season and will take place on Monday Nights from 5:30pm - 6:30pm at Bledisloe Park.
Gear: All gear is provided for this age group.
Clothing: To participate players will be required to wear closed in shoes and a sunhat. Players will be provided with a PMCC shirt after registration.
Rules: It is expected that you will be responsible for your child at these sessions and therefore your involvement is paramount in ensuring the development of ALL players.
Coaching: The club will provide a coach to these sessions, however your help will be expected if and when required, your involvement and input ensures that your child remains interested. Your help is always appreciated, if you would like to volunteer for these sessions please contact the Junior Club Captain. We have plenty of resources if you're new to coaching and are happy to help with all enquiries.
